Art for Pets

Outubro chegou com novidade muito fofa: minha nova obra “Tropel” vai ocupar as ruas de São Paulo como parte do projeto Art for Pets SP 2025, uma iniciativa linda da Artery que transforma esculturas de cães e gatos em arte urbana em prol da causa animal.

A mostra contará com 30 esculturas criadas por artistas convidados, que vão colorir pontos estratégicos da cidade de São Paulo. Depois, serão leiloadas com renda 100% revertida ao Instituto Caramelo, que há 10 anos cuida e resgata animais em situação de risco.

A minha obra, “Tropel”, foi inspirada na Juba, que foi minha cachorrinha. Ela me adotou e vivemos muitos momentos maravilhosos juntas. É um tributo com movimento, cor e memória. A escultura traz uma paleta vibrante, com camadas e manchas douradas, incluindo uma manchinha em forma de coração na nuca, do jeitinho que a Juba tinha.

Nos dias 1, 2 e 3 de outubro, pintei a escultura ao vivo no Shopping Morumbi. Foi intenso e deu pra sentir o carinho das pessoas que paravam, olhavam, lembravam dos seus próprios bichos.

E a programação continua, e tá cheia de coisa boa — arte, brincadeira, adoção e muito AUmor, haha. Detalhei tudo aqui para vocês aproveitarem:

Ateliê aberto até 19 de outubro

Dá pra acompanhar de perto o processo criativo de várias esculturas. Um ateliê aberto, com artistas dando vida às obras em tempo real. Acesso livre e gratuito.

Espaço para crianças

• Ateliê Kids (4 a 12 anos): oficinas de customização de mini esculturas em gesso.

• Espaço Baby (18 meses a 3 anos): ambiente lúdico com desenhos, massinha e piscina de bolinhas.

🐶 Maratona da Adoção – 18 de outubro

O átrio do shopping vai virar palco da primeira grande reunião das esculturas prontas, junto com mais uma edição do Evento de Adoção de Cães e Gatos. Um encontro cheio de emoção, famílias e novos começos.

Exposição geral – 23 de outubro a 11 de novembro

Todas as esculturas finalizadas ganham destaque em uma grande mostra gratuita no MorumbiShopping.

💛 Leilão solidário

Durante toda a exposição, rola também o leilão online. Toda a renda vai direto pro Instituto Caramelo, referência nacional no resgate e reabilitação de animais.

Artery launches Art for Pets SP 2025 with dog and cat sculptures supporting animal welfare – and I’m in it!

I’m excited to share that I’m part of this beautiful initiative by Artery: Art for Pets SP 2025, a public art project that brings sculptures of dogs and cats to the streets of São Paulo, seeking to support animals in need. And yes, I’m joining the show with a piece inspired by my sweet dog, Juba.

October arrived with the cutest news: my new work, “Tropel”, will be on display throughout São Paulo as part of this project. The exhibition features 30 sculptures created by invited artists, spread across key locations in the city. Afterward, all pieces will be auctioned off, with 100% of the proceeds going to Instituto Caramelo, an amazing organization that’s been rescuing and caring for animals for the past 10 years.

About my piece – “Tropel”

“Tropel” was inspired by Juba, who wasn’t just my dog, she adopted me. We shared so many beautiful moments together. This sculpture is my tribute to her: full of movement, color, and memory. It features a vibrant palette, layered textures, and golden spots — including a heart-shaped mark on the back of the neck, just like Juba had.

I painted the sculpture live at Shopping Morumbi on October 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. It was intense and emotional — so many people stopped by, connected, and shared their own stories about their pets. It felt like a big warm hug.

And the program is just getting started — full of art, play, adoptions, and a whole lot of PAW-sitive energy. Here’s everything happening:

🎨 Open Studio – until October 19

Come watch artists in action as they bring their sculptures to life. An open and free creative space with real-time painting and sculpting.

Kid-Friendly Activities

• Kids Studio (ages 4–12): mini sculpture painting workshops with plaster pups and kittens.

• Baby Space (18 months–3 years): a playful zone with coloring sheets, modeling clay, and a ball pit.

Every day from 12 PM to 8 PM
Free participation — just book your spot via the Multi app (more info available on the Shopping Morumbi website).

🐾 Adoption Marathon – October 18

A heartwarming event! The shopping mall atrium will host the first big showcase of all completed sculptures, alongside a pet adoption fair with dogs and cats waiting to find a loving home.

Main Exhibition – October 23 to November 11

All finished sculptures will be part of a large public exhibition at MorumbiShopping — and yes, it’s totally free to visit.

Online Charity Auction

Throughout the exhibition, an online auction will be running. 100% of the proceeds go to Instituto Caramelo, which is now a national reference in animal rescue and rehabilitation.

To me, art is also about generosity — touching the world in meaningful ways. If you’re in São Paulo, come by and see it all up close. And if you bump into Juba (the sculpture version!), say hi.
